Lead Forward grant program team gathered after a working session
Case study · Live deployment

Lead Forward: a $350,000 grant program, with the digital home it deserves.

For the Midwest Episcopal District AME Zion Church and the Lilly Endowment-funded Lead Forward initiative, we built a complete grant ecosystem — a central hub, four initiative pages, scoring rubrics, downloadable program guides, and team profiles — serving Indiana congregations and district leaders across five conferences.

The TIM approach

Three commitments that shape every engagement.

01 / Pillar

Right-sized

We don't sell platforms you'll only use a third of. Engagements are scoped to the actual problem, with transparent pricing and no annual commitments designed to lock you in.

02 / Pillar

Owned, not rented

When we build something for you, you own it — the code, the data, the Azure subscription. We're the partner; the infrastructure belongs to the mission you serve.

03 / Pillar

Practitioner-built

We've sat in the board meetings, deployed in the field, and lived with the operational consequences. Every platform is engineered by people who understand both the technology and the work it serves.

Refresh 2026: a production-grade event platform, built in weeks.

For the AME Zion Refresh conference, we built a complete registration system on Next.js 15 and Microsoft Azure — with Square payments, Azure Communication Services email confirmations, real-time admin dashboards, CSV exports, and mass-text notifications for attendees. Now live, serving conference attendees across multiple districts.

Compliance, by design

Trust is a feature, not a footnote.

TCPA

Carrier-verified messaging

Every text we send carries a defensible audit trail — consent capture, opt-out handling, and carrier verification. The legal exposure most DIY texting tools leave on the table, closed by design.

Microsoft Azure

SOC 2 Type II infrastructure

Your platforms run on Microsoft's audited cloud. Managed Identity for authentication, App Service Managed Certificates for SSL, Application Insights for observability — the same foundation Fortune 500s build on.

PCI-DSS

Tokenized payments handling

Where money moves, we delegate to Square — a PCI-DSS Level 1 processor. Card numbers never touch our infrastructure. Your organization gets the receipts, audit trail, and reconciliation without the compliance burden.
